Summary
After everything that has happened, the Doctor has been grounded to Earth until he learns to cope with his trauma rather than run from it.
The TARDIS has thus collected some of his friends in order to help him heal. Well, friends and someone who he has an infinitely complex relationship with. They are to watch the Doctor's adventures, taken from points all across the Doctor's timeline. Some will be good; some will be bad.
DOES NOT REQUIRE KNOWLEDGE OF THE EU TO UNDERSTAND. If you haven't experienced the EU (which I recommend), you'll just be 'watching' it for the first time along with the companions.

14’s scared of salt, the dark, mirrors, and…Donna. She been nothing but good to him, but her smile has been too wide recently, and he has a strong urge to measure her arms.
But that doesn’t matter too much when he’s sitting inside his Tardis. (Even if Donna somewhat discourages it)
What hurt could one trip do, vacationing was a part of healing, wasn’t it?
Or – 14’s paranoia starts to threaten both his sanity and his place in the Noble family, so he does what he does best:
he runs.
Unfortunately, this time he runs straight into the half of the universe he couldn’t save.
