She faltered on the words, her face growing flushed as blood crept up her cheeks. She was imagining it: the silk would be ruined, Daniel nothing more than the naughty puppy too poorly trained to stop herself. She whined, burying her face in Armand’s neck.

“No.” Daniel turns over fully in the bed, looking up at Armand’s side profile. “What was it you said? Vacuuming on valium? Counting down the thrusts? Doesn’t really appeal.”

“Don’t be,” Armand says, his voice way too light, way too casual. He is petting Daniel’s thigh almost absentmindedly, like one might pet an animal they know is helpless without them. “I can be your Alice, if you want me to be.”
Oh. Oh, hell.
Daniel accidentally calls Armand Alice in bed. Things escalate from there.
