“Really, Izu…” Shouto sighs softly, wrapping his arms around Midoriya as he stands in front of the mirror and redoes the taller man’s tie. “You’re twenty-six, you should be able to manage this on your own by now.”
“Stop teasing Shou. Last time I wore a tie was at graduation and I’m pretty sure Aizawa tied it for me then.” Midoriya watches Shouto’s slender fingers move deftly, twisting the fabric until his tie is perfectly tied, and perfectly straight, and the buttons of his jacket done up to keep it in place.

Midoriya shifted uncomfortably in his spot, his fingers twitching at his sides as he muttered, "Does she know your favorite soba place, though?"
Shoto shook his head this time. "No, she doesn’t."
"I do," Midoriya muttered quickly, not giving Shoto a chance to respond. "I know your favorite soba shop."
There was a sharpness in Midoriya’s voice that wasn’t there before, an almost desperate need to assert something. Shoto couldn’t help but to feel something bloomed deep in his stomach.
Jealous, huh? he thought to himself, though he kept his expression neutral.

Summary
After an attack on the village of Yuuei renders Izuku cursed with no known cure, he has no choice but to return to the town of his birth and face his fate head on. During Izuku’s quest to bring peace to a land littered by violence, he encounters Rei, a powerful forest God, and her three cubs, who live solely to protect their forest from the humans that wish to strike it down. When Izuku’s eyes fall upon Rei’s youngest cub, a feral but beautiful human whose left eye is framed by scar tissue, his innate instinct to save and protect comes to life.
When they chance upon a second meeting and lives are at stake, Izuku unleashes the true power of his curse for all to see. It’s only afterwards that he realises that the child of the mononoke has his own curse to break as well.
