Sirius was scared of him. Remus didn’t know when it started, his senses have only recently gotten to this point as he grows, maybe it was an old fear, maybe being Padfoot had made Sirius aware of the horror of the wolf, of Remus. Whatever it was, Remus was starting to believe his theory more and more.
Every time Remus got close to Sirius, made eye contact for a second too long, or touched him, Sirius’s heart raced. The only other explanation was that he had a crush on him, which was crazy, right? -

There’s a scuff on the wall of the ambulance.
If this was Hen and Chim’s rig, would have been buffed away. But the paramedic sitting across from him is, thankfully, a stranger, and for the moment her focus is on the paperwork rather than on him.
The blanket draped around his shoulders is soft but his skin still prickles beneath it, desperate not to be touched.
He still pulls it tighter.
Running.Moonlight. Solitude.
There’s movement outside the ambulance, an officer stepping in unannounced and sitting down opposite him. “Mr. Diaz, I’m Officer Watts. Can you tell me what happened tonight?”
Eddie looks at the notepad and pen poised in his hands. “I was raped.”

“Lily,” Hayden says automatically. “You know about Lily?”
Something flickers across Rozanov’s face. His jaw twitches. “Yes, I know about Lily.” He raises his eyebrows.
Hayden feels like a complete asshole, all of a sudden. There’s just been too much going on to even think about Shane’s mystery girlfriend. “Shit, I should probably, like, call her, or something? I don’t know this girl at all, but Shane’s been obsessed with her for years. If she was watching the game, she would have seen him get hurt.”
“You don’t need to call her,” Rozanov says, and when Hayden glances at him, he still looks fucking miserable but now he’s rolling his eyes, a much more familiar expression of disdain on his face. “She’s sitting right here.”
