Summary
ORDER 66! Millions of men have been waiting their entire lives to fulfill their duty - with varying degrees of success. Marshal Commander Bly embarrasses the Imperial Army by betraying his life purpose and 'rescuing' his girlfriend Aayla Secura and her padawan Quinlan Vos. Captain Rex embarrasses all of Mandalore by failing to assassinate Ahsoka Tano, Darth Vader's infamous Jedi Master. Qui-Gon Jinn embarrasses everybody one last time by sacrificing his life to help Mace Windu escape. Meanwhile, true patriots like Marshal Commanders Neyo and Bacara murder the Jedi gleefully.
Marshal Commander Cody hands over his padawan commander Obi-Wan Kenobi to the Empire without complaint. Obi-Wan Kenobi's death at the hands of his former master Darth Vader will happen in darkness, and the galaxy will come to regret it.
No Chip AU anthology story featuring age swaps, explorations of fascism, and utterly terrible parenting.

add quote. first no chips au, beautiful, raw, terrible to unfold, my lord🙏
Cody left Fox’s office alone, brimming with fury repressed so deeply that it only exploded many years afterwards when he began bumping off all of his superior officers. Slowly coming to a conclusion, so slowly he was barely even aware of it.
If he wanted Obi-Wan, he would have to guarantee that nobody would be able to tell him no. That there would be no more begging, no more powerlessness. Absolute control, absolute power, absolute safety. If Cody wanted to keep Obi-Wan, then he would have to eliminate everything that stood in his way.

Bookmarker's Notes
"...The win comes amid ongoing debate within Mandalorian cultural circles. Some critics argue the series leans too heavily on rigid tradition, portraying the old ways as inflexible and exclusionary. Others celebrate it as a return to the core values that once defined Mandalorian strength—discipline, loyalty, and creed.
Bascal’s recognition marks a major moment in his career, as he entered the awards circuit as an underdog. #GalacAwards #TheMandalorian"

Summary
Helpless and desperate, Clone Commander Cody sacrifices what little autonomy he has to protect the Vod, his brothers. Trapped under a natborn with the power to have him killed with a word, Cody gives up everything to carve out a life for his people.
…

Kenobi clenched his jaw. “That is how you thought I saw you?” Rage boiled beneath the man’s crossed arms. “What was I to you then?”
Cody made peace with his end. “You were access to power I didn’t have on my own.”
No matter how many promotions he earned, how hard he worked, or how much he sacrificed, he would never have the power to keep his vod safe from the natborns. With two clicks on his tablet, the General could save countless lives, improve the clones’ daily existence, give them hope. These were luxuries Cody could never reach on his own. These were powers worth giving up a dream of bodily autonomy for.

Summary
The code of a clone is a simple thing: you were made to die for the Republic, for the Jedi. Make the most of the time you have before that.
Cody, who picked his own name, who paints his armor in simple brush strokes, whose hand has never fit anything more perfectly than a blaster grip, figures out how to make the most of it.
And maybe there's a matchmaking lightsaber somewhere in there to help along the way.

Bookmarker's Notes
Halfway there, his feet operating on muscle memory alone, Cody abruptly remembers his paint. Or, more importantly, his lack thereof.
Kriff, he doesn’t know if he can take it today. One disappointment after another, too many prying eyes, not enough sleep, and far too much unspoken judgment.
