“Oh, I thought I just turned it off. Sorry.”
A click echoed out amongst their voices as the light on the side of the recorder turned off. The Archivist slowly stepped out from the shadows, noting Jon’s slightest hesitation when he pressed it. They startled again when the recorder flicked back on.
“Jon,” Tim said, annoyed.
“I-I didn’t do that,” he insisted.
“What, it just turned itself on?” Martin said, stepping closer.
“I don’t know, I guess!”
Tim angled his phone’s torch towards the recorder. Jon flicked it off, and, after a few seconds, it clicked itself back on.OR, another time travel fix-it, with the twist being that instead of showing their past selves the beauty of love and relationships, the horrible creatures that call themselves Jonathan Sims and Martin Blackwood serve as grim reminders of what will happen if they don't change their ways.

Jon decides to end the world, Martin doesn't go to him. Jon becomes the archive, entices the eye with the final idea of a pure ritual of just eye. Martin goes deep into the lonely with Jon no longer there. When they go back Jon is far removed from human and mostly just wants eyeball ritual, Martin barely remeberinf anything so distant. They try and help/recruit the assistants during worming who are rightfully sus, eyeball Jon tells everyone Elias is Jonas. Ch6

Summary

That had never been part of his plan. Leaving Vash, hair blackened and his body and mind flayed by Knives’ own hands, in the care of strangers—as Millions Knives himself slunk off into the desert sands to die. His body had started to disintegrate before they even touched down on the sands outside the church, shedding pieces of decaying matter and stardust as he staggered towards his brother’s salvation. The energy it had taken to rebuild himself from bones would not last into the night, and Millions Knives did not want Vash to watch as he crumbled in agonizing slow motion.
So, Knives leaves. He slips out the back door while the father and child of Mesa Probe Church tend to an unconscious Vash, on silent, padding feet scattering energy in his wake. An apple tree sprouts from one shallow footprint; against his better judgment, Knives grants the seedling a burst of his own fading power as his cloak slides from his shoulders. It would be put to better use, he thinks, given to something that intended to grow rather than rot.
The child tries to call for Vash when Knives turns his back on the tree.
—And then Millions Knives walks into the dune sea of No Man’s Land, and he does not die.

Ends like the Manga. After fusion did not work knives wanders to die, everyone thinks he is dead, LivioRazlo find him and decide to do a good deed. Knives is curious about redeemed cowboy and has literally nothing, they end up relying on each other and becoming partners. Knives is documenting his year via memory feather and LR is recounting their side of the story. Ch34
