Summary
Eighteen contestants receive a message from an unknown user asking them to head into the Penacony dreamscape. They are then whisked away into an expanse of wilderness that is surrounded by an unbreakable border. The contestants are told that they have three lives and are soulbound to another player. Once they lose all three lives they and their soulmate are eliminated from the game and gone for good. They must do whatever it takes to survive to the end, and there can only be one soulbound pair remaining.

Two friends decided that they wanted to make a crossover of their favorite fandoms. Cheetah knows nothing about Honkai Star Rail, and Thorn has no idea what the Life Series is. Still, we wanted to create this piece of writing together that could rival that of the Constitution (lies. Maybe. America is going to shit. Don’t worry we don’t talk about politics like, ever. Unless it’s fictional!!! <3). Also we are gay and neurodivergent and have nothing better to do :D

He could feel the grit crunch in his teeth and stab under his fingernails. His hair, which was tied back in its usual braid, was pulled loose slightly and he was certain that every strand held a piece of dirt. Despite the intense heat, Edward could sense he was in someone’s shadow, and that alone livened him up.
"Kid?" Vash shook Ed again, and like a rug that hadn't seen a good cleaning sand flew off of the boy. "Oh! You're waking up hey, hey!"
