Hank Voight could count on one hand the amount of times anyone had caught him off guard; now was one of those times. And Antonio was paying for it.
Detective Antonio Dawson, pain in his ass and an excellent detective; while he lacked Voight’s knuckle duster tactics, he got the job done and he did it well. Said detective was currently bleeding from his scalp and various other orifices as he lay curled on the ground, the punk who’d gotten the drop on them circling him like some kind of hyena.
Because that’s all these gangs were in the end, Voight mused, hyenas. They ate their own.

Summary
The throes of James’ fever had not released him yet. In his few moments of wakefulness, he has not been completely lucid, and does not seem to register Elizabeth’s hand brushing his burning forehead at all, much less as comfort. His tenuous fate does little to settle her nerves with the congregation of pirate lords fast approaching.
She thumbs the token Sao Feng had given her, kept secure around her neck. It would not do to sit idle and will James to wellness.
James survives the Flying Dutchman. Elizabeth oversees his recovery, and keeps herself busy in the idle hours.

Summary
The 16-year-old King Baldwin of Jerusalem returns from his victory at Montgisard sick and exhausted, and his older sister decides to cheer him up with a strange card game she discovered while he was gone. There is also alcohol. Either way, they don't get very far, and in the end Baldwin falls asleep on Sibylla's lap while she braids his hair. So basically this is pointless crack!fluff. There is way too much angst as well. I suck at being funny (which was the actual point of this) and I don't even speak English. So Ska, you have been warned.

Summary
Bishop Heahmund does not care for Ivar in the slightest, he can never forgive him for the torture he has inflicted upon him. Still, Heahmund plays Ivar's games, abides by Ivar's schedule because the mad viking is the only thing keeping him alive. When Ivar breaks from his standard routine with Heahmund, the Bishop knows something is wrong. For all that he may hate what Ivar has done to him in the past, he must find out and rectify the situation.
