Shouto takes a deep breath, he can’t mess up his chance. He might not get one again. “Sure. I will go on a date with you.”
There’s a flicker of confusion in Kirishima’s face, just for a moment, then he seems to resolve himself (maybe he was expecting Shouto to reject him?). “A date? Yeah, let’s go.”

Shoto blanches. He refuses to throw the temper tantrum that’s calling his name- he’s a professional athlete, for fuck’s sake- but it’s a close thing. It’s not his coach's fault, and likely not even the hotel’s fault. Mistakes happen. He can be an adult about this.
“He can room with me!” Eijirou pipes in- seemingly noticing that Shoto is maybe 10 seconds from breaking- and Shoto takes a nice, deep breath. Okay, that works. He can room with Eijirou.
He'll be fine because he can room with Eijirou.
