And so it was, that, after not being in the same hemisphere for three months and then actively avoiding each other for the two weeks they had indeed been in the same one, Phryne Fisher and Jack Robinson, brilliant detectives, found themselves irremediably locked in the oh-so-very-cold cool pantry of the Fisher estate. As a lucky bonus to the dire situation, they were both in their pajamas.

These past two months have been difficult ones for Audrey. Siegfried and Dorothy have been courting openly and see each other a few times a week. Audrey should be delighted, being the one who urged them together in the first place, but things are a bit more complicated than that.
“Ah,” he says, shifting in his chair. “Actually, we didn’t get around to it.”

Back in the day, he’d been a regular G-man with a hot partner, a hazy job description, and a plan to thwart an alien invasion. Then the world ended. Scully vanished. And none of his X-files offered any guidance on romance in a time of pleated pants and shoulder pads.
