Herman and Courtney don't exactly get along. They each have experienced struggles throughout their lives, however, their methods of coping with said struggles don't exactly mix.
Herman doesn't know how to process his growing frustration with Invisigal's brand of humor, and Courtney can't cope with how uncomfortable Waterboy's sensitive nature makes her feel.
One explosive incident later and HR is breathing down their necks.

"Y-You need calming?" Waterboy asks, confused, his brows knitting together slightly.
Prism flinches internally, realizing she opened herself up to that question. She tosses it around in her brain, trying to determine each outcome. She could not tell Waterboy, tell him to shut the hell up and walk back inside- though that was cruel, even for her. Or, she could tell him, and be strangely emotionally vulnerable. That icks her out, but there is something about Waterboy that disarmed her an alarming amount. An embarrassing amount. It’s annoying that she even feels compelled to tell him, but that's just how he made people feel. How he makes her feel. Safe- emotionally, at least. She didn’t understand why.
