After quitting Joja, my family declared my life choices a disaster and my move to Pelican Town an even bigger one. A ridiculous joke—one I never meant to take seriously—somehow snowballed into me opening a tiny café in Zuzu City instead.
One year later, Sebastian got a job and moved to Zuzu. He looked as exhausted by the city as I felt and joined my staff, reluctantly. Somehow, without meaning to, everything began to shift.
