Summary
A crossover (that nobody asked for) of One Night, One Billion and The Bar Closes at 100 Seconds to Midnight.
Damian Desmond has survived many indignities, including hostile takeovers, public scandals, and his own feelings, but waking up in the afterlife with Anya Forger to find his other self tending bar is a new low.
The bartender is him, but angrier, drunker, and somehow still employed. His co-worker is a perfect clone of Anya, who doesn’t seem to have a single idea what’s happening, but is excited anyway.
It turns out eternal life isn’t about peace, forgiveness or closure. It’s about entering a metaphysical dick-measuring contest with yourself over who is the better version.

Summary
Anya Forger, now a guidance counselor at Eden Academy, suddenly receives a proposal from the Desmonds to wed their eldest son, Demetrius, within a month.
To her parents' surprise and concern, she accepts the proposal as a way to infiltrate what's essentially Ostania's royal family and uncover the truth behind the whole ordeal.
Damian Desmond, a successful entrepreneur living abroad for the past five years, returns to Ostania and discovers that his future sister-in-law is none other than the girl he's loved since first grade!
Refusing to lose Anya again, Damian strikes a deal with Demetrius to replace the latter as the groom. The catch? He must sacrifice everything else that matters to him, including his pride and dignity.
As Anya and Damian learn to reconcile their past grievances and trust each other in the face of adversity, they gradually transform their arranged marriage into a real one.

Summary
Anya Forger has lived five lives. In every single one, Damian Desmond becomes Prime Minister, delivers a stirring yet ill-advised speech, and declares a war nobody asked for.
This life, Anya opts out. She ignores politics, eats pastries, and lets history ruin itself without her involvement. That ends when she saves Damian’s life, and he responds like any sensible future warlord would: by proposing immediately. Now she’s engaged to the man who’ll destroy the world, and worse, her plan to do nothing with her life has gone off the rails.
It’s all going surprisingly well, aside from the constant sense she’s being outmanoeuvred in a game nobody wants to admit they’re playing.
