After another month of no progress and Zatanna being needed elsewhere, he finally threw in the metaphorical towel and asked for help from the Big Bat himself.

Danny was living a good life. His parents still love him, even if it took a while for him and Jazz to convince them there was nothing to fix, his grades were slowly being brought back up, and he came to peace with the fact that he was going to be the Ghost King.Since he was still young , he was only the heir and, therefore, had fewer duties to do.
As the heir, Danny's favourite duty is helping lost souls move on to the afterlife.
The big guy, a revenant with guns and thighs who arrived during the send-off, looking at Danny like he hung the moon and stars, is a nice bonus.
