He never felt save in his own house, did not dare to speak up afraid of what might happen to him.
Throw alternate dimensions and demons in the mix and you have a recipe for trauma.
Now Steve is sitting beside Eddie with his fingers on his throat and his ear above his mouth, feeling, listening for hope.
And there it is, faint, but still there. A heartbeat.
Maybe Steve can't save his own life but he sure as hell will save Eddie's.Or

Summary

OR Steve tries his best to be a True Hero with some help from his friend the god Thor and accidentally trips into a lovers quarrel and falls in love himself.
This is a Disney Hercules AU (if the title didn't give it away). Except that I stripped the plot of the movie to it's bare bones and built this behemoth on top and around it.
