    Shelby assumed she should probably have put away the axe now that it'd been established that the running wasn't from a dangerous monster.. but it simply wouldn't happen.

    A feeling that simply refused to go away lurked Shelby's mind. She lowered the axe behind her back instead. It was better than keeping it at his throat.

    Basically, Shelby encounters Owen first, everything feels off, then, of course, she proceeds to get PTSD.

    As Shelby and her coven went out in the woods for their weekly hunt, the distant glow from a nearby schloss caught her curiosity. Disobeying what Scott and the others would have told her, she went over to observe who might be there. As she reached the window where the light was coming from, she saw the most breathtaking being she had ever laid her eyes upon. Standing by the window, dressed in a floor length, cream coloured nightgown, with curly, sandy brown hair that just past her shoulders, stood a woman around Shelby’s own physical age. Could this be a new companion?

    Vampires Smp | Carmilla AU because I finished the book and I needed to make this real.

    Avid's been a vampire for over a hundred years now. After almost being persecuted for witchcraft in his old town, he ran, finding Oakhurst.
    He's been running for weeks, and now he is so, so hungry, and for a human. Unfortunately for him, his first target turns out to be another vampire. But the other... turns out to be much more similar to one than he thought he'd be, despite being wholly, entirely, undeniably, human...

    But Avid was hungry—especially after what happened in the town he was in before—and could not fall as far into waiting as he would like. That's why he chose Owen, the easiest target to find alone.
