Summary
My vision of a somewhat complicated relationship between Jade and Katie which takes place a couple months after Katie confessed to Jade in the Dog Cop short presented on the Blu Ray exclusive release.
Jade and Katie were confirmed to be together in both films, but it remained official during the short as Katie asked out Jade on Christmas Day, which Jade happily accepted. And mind you, Katie is a lesbian. Not bisexual, not straight, LESBIAN.
I've also created head-canons for the characters, which means different pronouns included.

I've head cannoned Katie with asthma in case you come across a segment that mentions about it. She also is head cannoned with PTSD from the apocalypse.

A giant billboard with their faces on it, the picture being one of the many photos that was taken just this morning for their comeback teaser. The background was a simple orange one, not taking attention away from the girls. Zoey to the left, Rumi in the middle and Mira on the right, with Mira’s hand on Rumi’s back and Rumi’s hand on Zoey’s, with her hand on top of Rumi’s. Mira and Zoey looked amazing, as always, but Rumi…
“Oh Rumi.” Zoey gasped. “I’m so sorry.”
Rumi’s patterns were completely edited out of the photo. Her demon side, her growth all erased, like everything that she’d been through, especially on the night of the Idol Awards, never happened at all.

Mira’s thumb stilled on the screen. She looked up, slow. “…What?”
Zoey’s hands twisted in her lap. “Like—not open relationships. Just… not just one person. Have you ever thought about being with more than one person and it still being okay?”
She wasn’t looking at Mira. Her voice was tight, like it hurt to speak. Mira watched her with a furrowed brow, still quiet.
“I feel so guilty all the time. Because I love you, Mira. I love you, and this doesn’t change that, but I see her and I want to make her smile and I want her to hold my hand and I think she’s beautiful and weird and sweet and I—”
She finally looked up, tears shining in her eyes.
“I think I ruined us. And I’m so sorry.”
Mira just stared at her. Wide-eyed. Silent.
Zoey’s heart dropped. “Say something.”
Mira exhaled like she’d been holding her breath for a month.
Then she visibly deflated—shoulders dropping, head tilting back against the wall—and let out a quiet, choked laugh.
“…Oh thank god.”
