Of course, the transfer kid gets mentioned because transfers are rare, but the news isn’t that exciting. In fact, according to Laura, no one even seems to know his first name. The only thing anyone has really figured out about him is that he’s American. And that’s not exactly hard because he obviously has an accent.
The only thing Derek really knows is that, despite other reports, he seems quiet enough, prefers to work alone, and has the most amazing shade of amber eyes that Derek has ever seen.
Not that he’s looking. Obviously.
OR: A Harry Potter AU where Stiles is a Slytherin transfer student and Derek is the grumpy Gryffindor who falls in love with him.

Summary
He’s tall, as tall as Derek is, but where Derek’s shoulders are wide, this man is lean strength. Stiles rests his cittern against the corner, gives a jaunty wave to the room, and begins walking in Derek’s direction.
Derek stops looking and buries his face in his pint glass, willing the other man to go away.
Stiles hesitates near the empty chair. “Mind if I join you?”
“Yes,” Derek growls and wishes he could flash his red alpha eyes at this stranger to make him leave.
Looking from afar was one thing. Up close, Stiles’s eyes look like whiskey in firelight and he smells like citrus and woodsmoke. Derek’s wolf is going crazy inside him and he pushes down his reaction to this man. There’s something else, something other, but there are plenty of people who have residual magic of shifters in their family. It leaves a trace, but is often indistinct.
Stiles grins, pulls out the chair, and sits down. “Great.”

Devastated by the second coming of the Nogitsune, Eli Hale takes his desperation in hand and calls upon a business card for Spark Supernatural Consultancy in the hopes that someone will be able to help him. When he follows the smoke deeper into the preserve, he finds more than he bargained for and begins to think maybe, just maybe, things might work out.
"Kid’s a wolf", was the first thing to cross Stiles’ mind after he tugged the door open and was closely followed up by a second more confused thought that he knew this kid somehow.
Rather than question it, he chose to step aside and open the door wider to his young guest. Because he was young. No older than eighteen at the most, maybe younger. Not the youngest client who’d found their way to his front porch - that honor had gone to the six year old selkie who had, under the guidance of her foster mother, called him to her in search of her skin that had been so cruelly torn from her by hunters.
Youngest wolf by far however. Usually the alphas were too protective to allow any of the pack to request his services, and this went double for kids.

Summary
He takes the sandwich out of its container and is about to take the biggest bite out of it that the world’s ever seen when Stiles hears something. He doesn’t know what exactly he hears, whether it’s a strong gust of wind, a rustling of leaves, or the sounds of an animal. He doesn’t know, but whatever it is, it makes the hair at the back of his neck stand up in alert.
Looking around, he initially doesn’t see anything, not even a deer which, let's be honest, it probably was. This is the woods after all. Then, the second before he’s about to go back to his sandwich, he sees it.
It’s a fucking wolf.
Now there are two things running through Stiles’ mind at this moment. One, holy fucking shit I’m about to be mauled to death by a wolf, and two, why the hell is there a wolf in California?

The hairs on the back of Stiles’ neck tingle, and he swallows hard against the unmistakable sensation of someone staring at him. He’s tempted to just ignore it, but after a few seconds, his curiosity wins out and he looks up from his phone instead. He doesn’t notice anything right away, flicking his gaze along the people on the other side of the intersection until he suddenly stops and backtracks. It’s a little hard to see, what with the thick drizzle and the cars whizzing between them, but he would recognize that glorious bearded face anywhere, even after six years. Holy shit.

Summary
Another thing with time travel. It wasn’t a science, as mentioned. But it was a force, a means to react in the best and most probable way it knew. Just like Stiles’ magic wrapped around him and would react to situations before he even knew they were happening. Just like Derek and Scott would unknowingly understand an entire room before they even stepped in, their senses reaching out to assess without them even acknowledging the process. It was instinctual.
So where Stiles threw himself? He had no clue. He could be in the 1400s in the middle of Antarctica for all he knew. Wherever time threw him it was what made the most sense, the way in which to best preserve itself and the balance of the universe.

Or: The one where everyone's already dead and gone and Stiles has run out of options. So what's the next course of action? Time Travel, of course! Jumping back in time blindly, trying to fix anything and everything he can, and hopefully wake up to a better future. None of it comes with a manual, though.

He's alright, though. He has Lydia and Danny and, now that he has them back, he has Boyd and Erica too.
He might even have the Alpha Pack if they get their way.
