Sometimes Seungmin would come out of his room, flushed and freshly fucked and look at Felix in surprise. “Oh you’re still here?”
That question always sent a zip of burning annoyance down Felix’s spine and into his gut. What did Seungmin mean? Oh you’re still here? Of course he was still there. He lived there. Jisung wasn’t wrong, he was ignoring Changbin. It’s not that he didn’t want to see Changbin, in fact, it was that he wanted to see him too much. It was that Changbin took up so much space in Chan’s brain that sometimes it felt like he didn’t have room for anything else. Like he had to dump entire files like the names of random classmates, or the name of a song he liked, or even lunches he’d scheduled, all so that he had plenty of space to think of Changbin’s dimples, or his favorite meal at his favorite restaurant, or an itemized list of everything Changbin was allergic to.

He opens his eyes, takes a deep settling breath and pushes away from the door. He draws closer to the bed and Seungmin’s nest of blankets, lifts his knife in the air so the blade is pointed down at Seungmin. He stands over the bed, watches as Seungmin’s eyelashes flutter in his sleep, studies the drool that drips from the side of Seungmin’s open mouth, disgusting, and readies himself for the plunge. As the blade slices through the air, Seungmin’s eyes pop open to stare up at Hyunjin. His eyes aren’t wide or frightened, instead they fall immediately into a heated glare. Seungmin pushes the nest of blankets off of him and Hyunjin sees the other man was curled around a shotgun.
Or, Changbin used to be Hyunjin’s and now he’s Seungmin’s. Hyunjin isn’t going to let it stay that way for long, though.
