There must be something wrong with the four meddling kids and their dog. They can't shake the fierce desire to go home.
Back to a home that no longer exists. To a home that's dark and wicked but familiar.
To a home that holds mysteries and unbreakable friendships and a life they chose, not one thrust upon them.
That home is gone, but they still have pieces of it.
They just have to choose whether to grasp onto those pieces with all their might or to let them go forever.

Less than a month after Robotnik narrowly escaped the exploding Eclipse Cannon with his life, he and Stone are settling back into the crab, navigating their new relationship and caring for Shadow. All seems well, but when Stone comes down with a nasty flu and can't do everything he normally does for Robotnik, an offhand comment brings his abandonment issues roaring to the surface and sends him spiraling. Neither is quite sure how to handle it, but they're doing their best.
