Apollo has certainly had better days at work than sitting with Phoenix Wright in the bathroom while he holds a damp cloth to his nose and waits for the bleeding to stop - but it’s not one of the worst, either. In the grand scheme of bad days at work, this doesn’t even come close.
But, he still can’t say he’d be happy to discuss it again. With how little Phoenix talks about anything, he had just assumed it was over and done with - that they would talk about the punch just as much as they talked about the bloody ace, or Apollo’s first trial, or Kristoph Gavin - which was to say, not at all.

For a moment, no one says anything. It’s Julia’s duty, she fears, to give them both a horribly awkward thumbs up.
“Okay,” she says. She’s fumbling this; she knows she is. But she does not know how to tell two men who just showered together platonically that they showered together. Platonically. “Smart. Love the environment.”

Her hand tightened ever so slightly around his t-shirt, and his hands subconsciously replicated the motion against her back.
Fuck, this is hot, she thought, and an image of her lowering her face to press their lips together followed.
Jiang Cheng’s brain shortcutted.
A Cherry Magic AU, where Jiang Cheng’s not sure what terrible thing he did in a previous life to deserve this, but his life officially sucks—Lotus Pier Systems Inc. is on the verge of collapse, Jin Ling’s dog has gone missing, and to top it off, both Wei Wuxian and Wen Qing are suddenly back in his life after not having seen either of them for more than a decade.
Oh, and there’s the small matter of Jiang Cheng being a thirty-year-old virgin who can suddenly read minds upon touch.
He handles this about as well as you’d expect.

He looks good, like he’s living a happy life, and the only possible reason Chris can imagine for Buck to be here at Helena Diaz’s funeral in El Paso is that Chris’s father brought him.
“Why would you come?” Chris snaps at him.
Buck blinks. “Why wouldn’t I come?”
