Summary
Fiyero Tigelaar has one thought inside his head: Elphaba Thropp.
So much so that he goes as far as betraying the Emerald City and its anti-Animal beliefs in order to be the first to find her. But, he quickly finds that one cannot simply outsmart the great Wizard of Oz and Madame Morrible. And Morrible wants the entirety to know that Fiyero Tigelaar is nothing more than the Wicked Witch of the West's dog.
And she takes that quite literally, leading the young prince to find out what it's like to be an Animal in the great land of Oz.

Fiyero Tigelaar is having a bad day.
His girlfriend dumped him and all he wanted was to get rip roaring drunk to dull the embarrassment. Too bad drunk Fiyero makes bad decisions. Like drunkenly agreeing that he could make any girl at Shiz as popular as his ex by the Shiz Festivusal Ball. What he wasn't expecting was that the girl would be the girl he nearly trampled. Or that she would see right through him. Or that he would fall for her dry wit and loyal heart.

She didn’t know if she was more surprised that he used that word correctly, or that he actually just said that to her face. “...There are three. Three syllables. Same amount as your name.”

What if Fiyero never went on that tour with Galinda? What if he sought out Elphaba instead?
What if Elphaba was intercepted on her way to the library, and ran into Fiyero?
What if they find out they get along more than either of them expected?

Summary
Following their departure from the land of Oz, Fiyero and Elphaba find themselves in a run down cottage in the middle of nowhere. Finally free to live their lives the way they desire - together and far from those who seek to harm them - they begin creating a home for themselves and settling into their new normal. That is, however, until an unexpected development takes them by storm. Suddenly facing the unknown once more, can the two of them rely on one another and help each other realise that they are more then capable of taking this on? Only time will tell.
