    Summary

Trinity Santos doesn’t panic. She’s trained herself out of it.
So when her roommate, Dr. Dennis Whitaker, calls out sick with what seems like a lingering flu, she sends a sarcastic text—drink fluids, skull emoji—and goes back to work. She doesn’t dwell on the fact that he never replies. She definitely doesn’t admit that it worries her.
But when Trinity comes home to a deep, wet cough she recognizes instantly, a fever that won’t break, and Dennis drifting in and out of memories of the Nebraska farm where he grew up, denial stops being an option. The night spirals into an emergency that pulls them into The Pitt’s trauma bay—and into full view of colleagues who have never seen Trinity unguarded.
As Dennis’s condition deteriorates toward intubation, Trinity’s armor finally cracks. In a moment of raw vulnerability, she reveals the trauma that shaped her and the truth of what Dennis has become to her: not just a roommate, not just a friend, but her only family and her only safe place.
A character-driven hurt/comfort fic about illness, trauma, found family, and the terrifying intimacy of caring for the one person you can’t afford to lose.

    Summary

Set during the events of K-Pop Demon Hunters, this is a darker canon-divergent “what if” rooted firmly in emotion rather than spectacle.

When Zoey follows Rumi on one of her late-night disappearances, she is intercepted by a Saja Boy who sees her not as a hunter, but as an obstacle or as something to claim for himself. What follows is an act of violence meant to strip Zoey of control and to punish her for loving someone she shouldn’t.

The aftermath forces buried secrets into the open, Rumi’s demon heritage, Zoey’s trauma, and the truth behind the lyrics meant to condemn demons without thinking too hard about who gets caught in the crossfire.

This is not a story about shock value. It’s about survival, consent, bodily autonomy, chosen family, and the messy, painful work of healing, together.

And when Huntrix rewrites their diss track, it becomes something else entirely. Not just a takedown, but a promise.

After Jinu's trick, Rumi returns home. Only... Celine isn't there to stop her. So she takes matters into her own hands.
    ---
Celine finds the only family she has left, bleeding out beneath the shrine. She will not lose her like she's lost everyone else.

An idea I've been chipping at since the movie came out. Became a bit of a Celine character study.

    Summary

Mira and Zoey don’t know this yet (they will, one day soon, they will), but Rumi died for the first time the Monday after her eleventh birthday.

    Or

Rumi inhaled, the rush of air filling her lungs, inflating that tiny balloon called hope trapped behind her ribs.

    “I love you, Celine.”

The words tumbled out of her gracelessly, but so so sweetly. She waited, and all the while, that little balloon grew and grew, the plastic skin of it stretching and thinning with every second before—

    “You too,” Celine said back.

    ‘Pop.’

“Celine,” Rumi tried again, voice shaking as tears she didn’t even know she still had left to shed began to drip down her left cheek. “Celine, I said I love you.

    Or

If demons (even half-demons) could kill themselves, there probably wouldn't be many left. Rumi doesn't know this, yet. She learns.

    Summary

This is what happened: years ago, Mira and Zoey had someone, and then they lost her.

    It happens, sometimes.

    People disappear.

But years ago, Mira and Zoey had someone, and then they lost her. Then, they thought that they might have found her again – because Rumi was everything they once had, because she was the third hunter, because her soul was bound to theirs like they were to each other.

They never asked, in the end.

What had happened that made the other woman slip away like she did.

But it never did feel completely right, after, despite everything. Because Rumi was there but she also wasn’t, because she laughed and joked with them but never quite fully, because she would lean into their touch sometimes and then shrink away from it the next moment. Because she had walls all around her, and rarely, if ever, took them down.

Rumi had always been scared of something.

    – .˳·˖✶𓆩𓁺𓆪✶˖·˳. –

(Or: the bond between the hunters tells them of each others emotions, each others pain. Rumi, naturally, decides that her sins are hers alone to carry, that she cannot burden the other two with them. But such secrets rarely stay hidden.)
