Alpha-17 is stationed on Kamino for a reason: he’s competent. Alpha-17 is also a trainer for the ARC program for related reasons: he’s demanding, relentless even.
Alpha-17 is not part of the nursery support staff for the latter reasons, and also the plainly obvious fact that he was simply not suited to caring for children of any species.
And yet, these factual realities don’t stop him from being sucked into the strangest day of his existence thus far.
