Summary
She looked around for any signs of monsters, but there was nothing. They didn’t have any incidents with creatures for at least a few years. A bear maybe? But there weren't any bears in this area. Sure, it happened, but it wasn’t common at all, and not at this time of the year.

Summary
So, I love Astolat’s writing, always have, and on occasion, I re-read everything she wrote in POI. The one that sticks with me is One Way Glass, and I re-read all the other works that are adjacent.
Thing is: these fics usually make me go, but... what if John... did... this other thing instead, or what if Harold was...? It’s the classic fuck or die fanfic, or the classic, someone makes them do it fanfic. I want to explore it inside their universe, just a bit. I mean, where is Shaw? Is this first season? Is Bear around? I have so, so many questions.

Each chapter is a different take on the original story. Multiple POVs, different takes on the same characters. I won't be doing anything crazy like aliens! (or will I) Anywho, this could be fun, in a horrible fuck or die sort of way.

Summary
A pumpkin-headed scarecrow strolled out, whistling a jaunty tune and pushing a wheelbarrow filled with gardening tools. For a moment, she caught a glimpse of the castle’s interior: the walls were set aglow with light cast by stained-glass windows, and the luminous ceiling seemed to shift and turn like a neverending field of stars. The doors swung shut, and the pumpkin abruptly stopped whistling as she met the eyes of its carved face. Or eye holes. Whatever.
The pumpkin almost looked like it was raising an invisible pair of eyebrows at her in surprise. “Eh… Hey,” it said gruffly, nearly a question.
“Hi,” she answered, with the nagging feeling that she should find this interaction weirder than she currently did.
“Sorry,” the pumpkin continued. “I didn’t realize you were out here. We don’t get too many of ya in the boss’s garden. Or really, near the palace at all.”
She suddenly felt incredibly awkward as she realized this garden obviously belonged to someone, and she had not been invited to enter it. She didn’t know why that thought hadn’t crossed her mind before. It seemed so blatant now that the pumpkin had pointed it out in passing.

Summary
Under orders from Dumbledore, Severus Snape is forced to train ‘candidates’ from a secretive organization in Occlumency. You, one such candidate, find yourself drawn to the tall, dark man. Despite his initial reluctance, passions flair, and you enter into a mutually beneficial arrangement. After all, it’s only for the duration of your training and then he’ll never see you again. Right?
Story begins in 1995, after the Triwizard Tournament. Plan is to keep it fairly canon-compliant (but who knows).
This is a plot focused reader insert, with plenty of romance, angst, and new storylines.
