Then there was the soft jingle of a bell from behind a tree. You froze, not realizing you had pulled the twig dolls out of your pocket and held it to your chest for comfort until the sharp edges stabbed your palm.
Something slowly poked its head out from around the tree, tall and lanky like a scarecrow. Its skin was yellow and its face looked like a mask that resembled a child's depiction of the sun; eyes large and milky white, a wide needle tooth grin stretching across its grimy face. It seemed to perk up as it got a better look at you and wickedly giggled.

With more help from DogDay the three of you manage to escape from that horrible place and from the secrets that you've learned.
DogDay and CatNap now live with you, but outside the factory they seem to act different and respond to you differently. The seem to treat you like a pet rather then a person...
