Summary
Giyuu's life had always been defined by secrecy. As a dominant omega.
Giyuu couldn't ignore the twinge of longing that tugged at his heartstrings whenever he witnessed Sanemi, the fierce and brash Wind Hashira, interact with Kanae, a gentle beta. Their bond served as a reminder of what Giyuu believed he could never have—a loving partner.

“There is no need for your sword… Tomioka Giyuu…” Kokushibo puts up one hand, attempting to placate the ravenette, but the slayer still does not sheathe his blade. Though, he does like the way his name rolls off the tongue, “I’ve been looking for you…”
He can see the way Tomioka grips his blade tighter, brows furrowed, “Why… why?”
Kokushibo hears the confusion, the desperation. He wants to hear his voice again, without those feelings. He wants to hear Tomioka’s voice in all its glory, without being weighed down by sorrow.

Giyuu looks at his friend. Then, his blue eyes march over the person in question. He currently held his younger brother, Genya, in a vicious chokehold, his knuckles digging into the top of the boy’s head. Tanjirou, Genya's friend, flutters around the two brothers, hands out and gingerly attempting to deescalate the situation.
“Really.” Giyuu offers.

In which Giyuu remembers his past life, centuries ago, blade and blood. Under a blue moon, wisteria blooming, where Sabito and Sanemi were both his lovers.
But in this life, Sabito and Sanemi grow closer, and Giyuu finds himself a ripple in a different body of water.
