“... How long’ve you been on it, then?” Martyn asks, eyebrow raised. Ren pouts.
“... half hour,” he mumbles. Martyn lets out a quiet, fondly exasperated laugh.

Summary
If you asked Scar what the best way to meet attractive men was, getting kicked in the face while standing at the edge of the mosh pit wouldn't make top ten. Maybe top twenty, he'll concede, but certainly not top ten.
Regardless, if you couldn't tell, his night isn't going anything like he expected but hey! A win is a win.

Summary
Is there anything so devoted as giving yourself to someone to die so they can be fed? Can you be closer to another person other than being consumed? Cub and Scar don't think so, which is why they've been eating one another for years. Vex need to eat sentient beings to survive, they both get hungry, and they both have a few screws loose in the "showing and receiving affection" department. Everyone wins.

“Everything I want is scary, Johnny,” he hisses, gritting out his trembling fear between clenched teeth.
“But you want ‘em, do you?”
The world takes a moment, lets the crickets, the tick of clocks and the shuffling of feet lull to leave room for silence. Ghost gets that itch, that throb in the pit of his stomach and that voice in the back of his head that calls him a coward as he lets the quiet draw on, unable to let one simple word free. What makes it so hard? Why can he litter concrete with blood and shell casings but he can’t utter a single syllable? Three letters. Three letters and Soap will stop staring at him so fucking patiently, perfect and undeserved.
He digs his canines into his tongue until he tastes copper and bites out an agonized “Yes,” if only to see the lazy grin that spreads across Soap’s pleased face.
“Then get on the bed.”
