Summary
After the events of Raccoon City and ARK, Grace Ashcroft is struggling to get back to her normal life. Night terrors rob her of her sleep. Work drags, with little to no acknowledgement from her boss. And then there is Emily, who Grace took under her wing while barely being a functional adult herself. All of this pressure is something not even therapy seems to be able to fix. How could her therapist even begin to understand the horrors she went through anyway? So when Leon Kennedy calls to inform her of important papers he recovered, she is delighted to see him again, even when it comes with reopening the past and facing everything she’s been trying to move on from. But perhaps fate might not be as cruel as it seems, because when a thunderstorm forces Leon to crash on her couch for the night, Grace realizes that perhaps all she really needed was the grumpy DSO agent's presence.
