    Summary

While the Witchers wintered at Kaer Mohren, Kaedwen rotted below them. One casualty of that rot was the voice of a bard, taken by a sorceress in the court of a monstrous king and suddenly the Wolves can no longer justify holding themselves apart from politics. Can they break the curse, and if they do, what else might they gain along the way?

    Summary

Full disclosure, Lambert never thought his life would turn out this way.

His life isn’t worth writing home about, not that his parents would care either way, but it’s his life and everyone else can fuck off. All Lambert knows for sure is that he’s broke, poor as a church mouse, his rent is due tomorrow and he really needs to stop philosophising and focus on the task at hand if he still wants to have a roof over his head by the end of the week.

    -
Or, Lambert is an escort and Eskel is a rich CEO. When their worlds collide, sparks will fly and heads will turn as both put up the show of a lifetime. No strings attached! Except when strings start to grow between them, it's all Lambert and Eskel can do not to get tangled up in the biggest mess of their lives.

    Summary

    “Freak.”

    Geralt doesn’t flinch.
It’s nothing he hasn't heard before, usually followed by a derisive laugh. The stranger might not have meant for him to hear the word, muttered as it is while Geralt's back is turned.
Even when people have heard about Witcher Syndrome and know what to expect from it, they seem to forget about the more acute senses. So, he pretends that the insult was just an unconscious aside that the man behind him meant to keep to himself, and tries to continue his workout.
    ———
Witcher Syndrome is a disorder that causes genetic mutations to occur to those who develop it. While some symptoms could almost be considered advantageous, others are clearly detrimental to those affected. As with any disability, there are those with prejudices against those that are “other” or “different”.
Geralt has spent most of his life learning to protect himself from those who won’t understand that his differences don’t make him a freak.

But, it will take someone with quite a lot of zest for life and self-love, to show Geralt how to be okay with himself, and to remind him that he is still only human.

    Someone like Jaskier.

    Summary

Jaskier spends several years healing after Geralt turns him away on the mountainside, and his fragile heart is finally piecing itself back together. He keeps returning to Posada every year for reasons unknown even to him, but everything's fine. Who needs Geralt, right? The betrayal will fade eventually. The feelings too. The bitter, raw feelings... and then he runs into another Witcher in the same damn tavern. He even looks like Geralt. But instead of a walking bulwark of brooding silence, he meets a man with an open smile, kind eyes and a laugh that warms his very soul. Another few chance meetings and Jaskier finds himself inextricably drawn into Eskel's orbit. I mean, they have so much in common, including a deep, relentless yearning for a tall, brooding Witcher with hair the colour of moonlight.

All characters in this series are their game versions, with the exception of Jaskier who is an amalgamation of all with a heavy sprinkling of fanon lore. I have used "The Witcher - All Media Types", but with the exception of the jumping off point, this series uses lore from books, games, Gwent and TTRPG only.

    Summary

Non-human races have been enslaved and forced into obedience through compulsion spells. The Wolf School Witchers have been enslaved for years until they are gifted to a young viscount. Lord Pankratz claims he doesn't approve of slavery, but he still keeps the Witchers for himself.

Can Eskel, Geralt, and Lambert trust this noble when he tells them he wants to treat them like equals? Or is he playing a game much more dangerous than they realize?
