For a moment, he’s back in the hospital with his head throbbing and immense pain coursing through his veins, his lungs on the verge of collapse, his body begging for it all to end. Plagued with the idea that his life must have been meaningless if no one is even looking for him, Satoru finds himself in front of a buddhist temple that proves him otherwise. As the haze around his memories clears, the guesses of who did this to him and why turn muddier and muddier.
