Tommy wasn't much of a fighter. Sure, he HAD to fight, but he tended to try to avoid it. Most people saw "human" and "rune worker" and thought he was either lying about his magick skills, or lying about his species. But Tommy was good at runes, despite the fact that Humans just... weren't good at Magick.
It's a useful skill to have, as the war against the Vampire Clans and their leader, the Ashen one, Angel of Death. The vampires are relentless, and the Magical collective is losing ground, they're hunting for something, and Tommy has a lot to protect back home.
He might just have no choice in the matter. Even if he doesn't want to fight, he might have to.I'm bad at summaries, this is a fantasy (kinda) vampire war fic. TommyInnit centric, featuring platonic soulmates, a whole host of familiar characters, and eventual SBI and BenchTrio (plus Purpled).

Summary
He laughs, staring at the vampire’s red eyes which were now starting to glow from the blood. “So, finally come to kill me ‘eh Blade?” he sneers, “I should have known you were all the same.” he chuckles again, nearing hysterical.
Tommy could shoot him; could reach into his pocket and grab his gun out, but instead he doesn’t. A part of him feels faint and shaky from the sluggishly bleeding wound on his side that he tries to cover with his hand.
Another part of him has given up.
He watches as the vampire slowly walks up to him and Tommy closes his eyes. He expects a hand to hold him in a harsh grip, claws tearing into his skin.
He doesn’t except a handkerchief pressed against his wound, Techno looking at him with an unnatural amount of concern.

After losing his parents and later his brother to the same vampire, Tommy hides in the small city of L'manburg, waiting for the chance to avenge them. What Tommy doesn't except is for a coven of two vampires to figure out his plan and offer to help him.
Maybe he could gain something more from this alliance?
