Season 3 ended a bit differently; after cancelling the diatom apocalypse, the Snake got stuck in the human form, with all his godlike powers out of reach. And surrounded by folks just excited to retaliate. But a proper villain never gives up. Now his goal is at least to survive, and at most, to revert to his true form, extinguish the Universe, and snatch the Rose all for himself (in any order).

After returning to Moominvalley, Snufkin tries not to think about Joxter but fails, and among other things, he remembers Joxter's words that mumriks have tails but it's a tricky matter. And he starts worrying about it because what if the tail is another dangerous thing to be controlled? (Un)Luckily, everyone is eager to help him with this quest.
