He doesn’t tell Bruce afterwards because he’s decided to keep it and even though he tells himself he’s only keeping it just in case he needs it again, he knows that’s a lie. He doesn’t know why it’s a lie, but he can feel that it is.

The train jerks suddenly and Roman is caught off balance. He falls forward, slamming the small body in front of him up against the door of the train.
“Sorry,” he grinds out, pulling the person back upright. A teenager, he realizes. And a rich one at that, judging by the Gotham Academy uniform.
“It’s alright. Just a bump.” The teen twists his neck to offer Roman a reassuring smile.
Blue sapphire eyes meet Roman’s, and his heart stops.
He isn’t sure what it is. Maybe it’s those eyes. Or his smile. Or the innocence of a foolish boy who hasn’t yet realized the true horrors of this city. But suddenly Roman wants.

He blames it on presenting while getting beat up by his father to explain his taste for pain and humiliation.
Then it comes to him that he worded it as though he wanted to end their arrangement rather than offering the alternative he came up with. His mouth opens in a flash to defend his case but Conquest beats him to it.
“You want to be mine.” Conquest says confidently, mouth stretched in a grin.
Mark clicks his mouth shut right away.
Or… yeah, he could have been interpreted that way as well.
“That’s not what I meant.”
“Didn’t you?” Conquest nearly purrs.
“No! Are you even listening to me?”
