Summary
Chisaki keeps finding things in dumpsters on days where he makes poor life choices.
Hawks wants to make better life choices but everyone around him (including himself) makes it far too difficult.
Eri is the only one making good life choices.AU where Chisaki is a back-alley doctor that hates the world because it exists, Hawks is the vigilante that needs a trustworthy medic (and fears for the fact that Chisaki is the top of the list), and Eri finds a home that she will physically fight people for.
Star Featuring: Kurono. The only one that should know what is going on and the only one that never knows what is going on because everyone refuses to tell him. -

Summary
The first Mecha Man to grace L.A. was titled Mecha Man Prime, being the first in the legacy of non-powered humans to make a difference as a hero. The second Mecha Man named himself Astral and made his debut in L.A. as the leader of a group of heroes.
Robert was supposed to be the third Mecha Man. His father would have wanted that for him, but disappointing his father isn't new to him anyway.
In Robert's defense, he had a very valid crash out after his dad was murdered a decade ago. In his opinion, this leads to his very reasonable agenda of hunting down the man who murdered him. It sucks, because it's his target is beloved by the entire damn State.
L.A.'s third Mecha Man, Elliot Connors.
(OR: Robert Robertson is L.A.'s most wanted supervillain, hunting down the newly retired Mecha Man one dispatch call at a time.)

Summary
The man was in a suit that almost reminded Robert of something from Cirque du Soleil, all skin-tight, shimmering fabric with bursts of red and orange and a V-neck that showed a lot more than neck. The wrap-around sunglasses didn’t even look that ridiculous.
Infuriatingly, he managed to be beautiful, like a Monet in an Ikea frame is beautiful. He had changed very little in the years since Robert first encountered him, at least physically. Robert couldn’t say the same.

Summary
“It’s not a real kid, Chase.”
Chase is technically underage, he’s a year away from being able to drink but the bartender didn’t bother to check his ID. Chase has always looked a little older than he was, it works in his favor now.
Nobody at a hero bar like this would assume he was so young.
“How the fuck do you think that?” Chase asks, spits. His hands still shake with the memory of it. The beer in his hand shakes with the tremors of his hands. “How the fuck do you do it?”
Mechaman sighs, deep, disappointed. He leans back, taking his whiskey with him.
The rest of the Brave Brigade was downstairs, drinking in victory, dancing with the other heroes, celebrating.
“It’s the Astral Pulse.”
