I felt flabbergasted as the words left his mouth; it was so out of character for him to be acting like this. It wasn't until I sat up fully that I realized why. The predicament I was in with him was what could be called...intimate. Our legs were tangled with each other and I was full on straddling his thigh, no doubt rubbing against it when I sat up. Something I didn't even consider, nor feel given the circumstances of the brutal student collision.
