Eddie goes then, opening the front door with arms full of tiny waters. He bumps it open with his hip, turning back to call one more time to Chris.
“Move it bud! We’ve gotta go in three minutes if you want to— oof”
Eddie stumbles as he runs into something large in his doorway. Something warm. Something… Buck shaped.
“Woah, ok, ok I’ve got you,” the Buck shaped obstacle says, steadying him and his waters as Eddie just… stares at him. Frozen. He's pretty sure he's hallucinating Buck being in Texas again.

Summary
Eddie watches the crowd, not the singer, when he’s had a job like this. He’s not allowed to look back, to look up and over and watch the show. That’s how you miss incidents. The audience, the fans before him, they are the ones who will need his help.
So, Eddie stands. He has stood through two full sets, four hours of artists he couldn’t name if he tried, since releasing the last medic from their post. There is just under three hours and one artist left for his shift. The heat isn’t his favorite thing, but Eddie will risk anything to keep people safe.
Plus, he’s stood still for longer.
He has watched the people clinging to the barricade shift colors as different artists play over the weekend. From red and black and androgynous, to yellow and glitter and heels, and now to various shades of blue and green and… deer?
AKA:
Festival Medic Eddie Diaz does his job, and he does his job well. It just so happens that this time it means being thanked by thousands of fans and a very, VERY, hot singer with bright blue eyes and a kind smile. And if that pushes him into a gay awakening, that's between him and the God that made him this way.Bookmarked by GuiltyBystander
