Summary
After they both died in flames, one by a balrog and one in a fiery chasm, Glorfindel and Maedhros are reborn and return to Arda for the same purpose: to help Elrond as he rules Imladris.
The great grandson of Glorfindel's former king and the foster son of Maedhros, Elrond is perhaps the only one able to unite these old enemies. And when Maedhros and Glorfindel discover that Celebrimbor's nearby kingdom of Eriador is under a shadow and posing a threat to Imladris, they have far more to worry about than their old grievances.
(In short, I wanted to write a story that involved two of my favorite Silmarillion characters: Maedhros and Glorfindel. In canon, they hardly ever interact, so I thought this would be fun!)

Summary
For two years, ships traveling the Anduin have been lost to the same strange fate. Survivors speak of a figure on the rocks: a mysterious figure on the rocks whose enchanting song draws sailors to their doom.
When word of another disaster reaches Imladris, Elladan and Elrohir set out to uncover the truth behind the haunting voice on the river.

The circle of the Mírdain sat in silence, the summer night sky forming a dark dome above them, while fires in the braziers surrounding the terrace flickered, and everyone was lost in comfortable contemplation of their own thoughts.
That was, until Daeror suddenly straightened in his seat and his eyes homed in on Celebrimbor and Annatar with the precision of a First Age mid-range missile, courtesy of Curufinwë I.
“Anyway,” the bard asked out of nowhere, “how’s your sex life?”
Celebrimbor and Annatar spat out their drinks.
