Summary
Veronica's been through a lot in the last year: her first love broke up with her in the cruelest way possible, her second chance dumped her to run off with his steroid-dealing ex-girlfriend, her best friend might have a stalker, and her mom - look, her mom is fine.
Things are finally starting to turn around when her new boyfriend betrays her with the last person she'd ever have expected, and that shatters her in a way nothing else ever has. But shattering things leaves sharp edges, and if Old Veronica was virtuous, and virginal, and Lilly's favourite plaything, New Veronica is going to be none of those things - she'll be vicious, vengeful, and willing to take down Lilly Kane by any means necessary.
Enlisting one of Lilly's other discarded toys to help her with that is, surprisingly, proving to be extremely satisfying in more ways than one.

“Stevie! When arrives your plucky little bride?” Bucky demanded, stalking into Steve’s private study in naught but his black buckskins, a thin, black tunic, and some soft, fur-lined boots. Behind him hurried his body man, Clint, with a black wolfskin cloak to drape over his master’s shoulders once he’d helped himself to Steve’s good whiskey and a seat in the prince’s own study.
“Our plucky little bride,” Prince Steven reminded his Alpha pack mate.
“She’ll be no bride of mine,” Bucky scoffed, quaffing his whisky like a heathen damned, straight from the decanter, with little pause of appreciation for the fine booze at all. “I’ve no use for one such as she, nor any desire to be surrounded all the hours the gods gave the day by her hollering, untrained pups. You’re all I need, m’lord, and there’s plenty of you for me.” He waggled his eyebrows lasciviously at his mate.
