To the public, Kenta was one of the nation's top swimmers. The one with the best chance at qualifying for the Olympics. What they didn't see was the "training" he endured from his "dad", the national team swimming coach. Kenta had a plan though, of how to get out from under Tony's thumb. He'd been working on it for years but he hadn't planned on a certain Korean diver coming in and changing it.

The tent felt too quiet now. Every faint sound—the flap of canvas, the muffled breath of the guards posted outside—seemed to recede, leaving only the low rhythm of their breathing.
Kenta’s gaze had shifted to the ceiling again, but Kim could still see the sharp edge of his profile in the dim light. His jaw was relaxed but not careless, like he was concentrating on not reacting.
“You’re warmer than a fire,” Kim murmured before he could stop himself.
Kenta’s eyes slid toward him again, that brief flicker of gold catching in the darkness. “You’re freezing,” he replied simply, but the words carried something softer beneath them.
Kim’s thumb made an idle sweep along the inside of Kenta’s forearm, the skin impossibly smooth for someone who fought like he did. The touch wasn’t meant to be intimate but the longer it lingered, the more aware Kim became of the closeness.
He should have pulled back. It would have been easy—just a small movement, and the moment would pass. But instead, he stayed there, feeling the steady heat, the faint press of Kenta’s pulse under his fingers.
