Summary
During the battle in the Department of Mysteries, Hermione becomes separated from her friends, and is stalked by the demented death eater, Bellatrix Lestrange. Bellatrix thinks she is in control, but she will soon learn that no one controls Hermione Granger. And, that the best laid plans mean nothing when the Brightest Witch of her Age is two steps ahead of everyone.
A slightly darker and more influenced Hermione Granger in this one. But, is a product of Bellatrix's own work. Only Bellatrix's work comes back to bite her, in more ways than one.

Summary
Hermione Granger knows how the world works. It has an order to it (she just has to find it) that describes all things. Stones fall because of gravity, Ron is loud because he's a Weasley, there is a science of magic, and all of the knowledge in the world are in her perfect, lovely little books.
Luna, on the other hand, doesn't know what she doesn't know, and knows that there are things that no one knows. Honestly, she doesn't know why she has to use the word know so much, except for the knowledge that there aren't all too many words to describe knowledge except for knowledge.
Naturally, the two don't really get along. They're too different, like oil and water, and see the world in their own special ways.
But what if they got closer, and start to see how the grass grows on the other side?
Or: a coming-of-age story with a philosophical bent to it, and a femslash one at that.
