Summary
Will Graham is obsessed with the Chesapeake Ripper, he makes Will feel alive and he hasn't even met the man. Will has been profiling for Jack for about a month, Abigail Hobbs is set to wake up soon, and he's being tasked to get as close to the Ripper as possible. Hannibal Lecter, none other than the Ripper himself has been following everything since the Hobbs case obsessively through tattle crime. Will is intriguing to him, imagine his delightful surprise when Will finds him dumping a body, an even greater surprise when the man spills his admiration for his work.

Molly deals with the aftermath.
Frowning, Molly turns to retrieve two mugs from the cupboard. As she slides them from the cupboard she asks, “You think they’ll come back?”
“It isn’t likely they’ve left,” Freddie explains, eyes trailing over Molly’s hands as she sets the mugs down and pours their coffee. “Jack Crawford is looking for them in Florence. Hannibal’s ex-psychiatrist turned up a week ago missing a leg. You tell me what continent they’re on.”
The mug Molly is holding clatters against the counter top loudly, and coffee sloshes everywhere.
“Excuse me?” Molly finds herself laughing, sharp voiced and flabbergasted. She turns again, enough to see Freddie, smirking and staring back at her from the kitchen table.

When Will Graham woke up this morning, something in the back of his tangled web of thoughts spoke with alarming clarity; The backdrop is set. Something extraordinary is coming.
The first time he built a tableau, out of poor Freddie Lounds no less, he prayed that the Ripper would see him. He must have. The idea thrills him, gives Will a sense of wanting he hasn’t felt since the first time he saw a Ripper scene.
Suddenly the universe’s message is well–received. He knows this face. He knows those eyes.
And, evidently, those eyes know his too.
_________________The Chesapeake Ripper and the Wendigo, two notorious serial killers and prisoners of the BSHCI are being transported across town in the same van. They’ve never met, but their instant connection is beautiful, powerful, and deadly to everyone involved.
