“It’s not a real kid, Chase.”
Chase is technically underage, he’s a year away from being able to drink but the bartender didn’t bother to check his ID. Chase has always looked a little older than he was, it works in his favor now.
Nobody at a hero bar like this would assume he was so young.
“How the fuck do you think that?” Chase asks, spits. His hands still shake with the memory of it. The beer in his hand shakes with the tremors of his hands. “How the fuck do you do it?”
Mechaman sighs, deep, disappointed. He leans back, taking his whiskey with him.
The rest of the Brave Brigade was downstairs, drinking in victory, dancing with the other heroes, celebrating.

Summary
“His body was thrown roughly onto the deck with the force of the fire blast behind him. He scrambled to get to his feet but the culprit behind the firebending was already upon him — and it was Zhao.
The commander pounced on him and tried to pin him down. “Escaping with the Avatar?!” Zhao roared. “That’s low even for a traitorous bastard like you!”
“You gave me no choice!” Zuko snarled and wriggled out from underneath him, readying himself for a fight. Zhao grabbed at him but Zuko was too fast.”
Zhao captures the Gaang and Zuko and they get thrown in prison together. Zuko has to make some tough choices…

Summary
Aang and Zuko swap bodies Freaky Friday-style and have to figure out how to work together in order to get back to normal.
Zuko is having an existential crisis, Aang just wants to have his friends look at him like he's not about to stab them in the back, and everyone else is *confused* to have the weirdly smiley ‘Fire Prince’ along for the ride.

Summary
Zuko started with the facts. His hands and feet had been frozen together in thick chunks of ice in front of him. He was seated against a pillar, a thick blanket underneath him. There was a hole in the leg of his pants, torn bigger so someone could take the arrow out - he remembered the arrow now, the razor-sharp sting through his leg as it entered. Someone had taken it out and wrapped a torn-off piece of his pant leg around it to staunch the bleeding. The Avatar, probably. He’d seen a prime hostage opportunity and taken it. That was wise. Father would be impressed.
