Summary
As Sherlock gets dressed for John and Mary’s wedding, his thoughts and memories consume him. John is slipping away and Sherlock must let him go … forever. But as he retreats into his Mind Palace, Sherlock doesn’t hear the familiar footsteps rushing up the stairway. Perhaps, in letting go, Sherlock gains the impossible.
This work was inspired by Dan Stevens’ (as the Beast) rendition of "Evermore" from Disney’s live action film "Beauty and the Beast." It is beautifully heartbreaking as the Beast let’s go of Belle, and it reminded me of Sherlock having to let go of John.

Summary
John Watson has never met Sherlock Holmes, but that doesn’t stop him from having a massive crush on the six-foot-tall-dark-and-handsome Uni student. As John’s thoughts about the young man increase, so do the number of situations where he can take in the beauty of certain parts of Sherlock—his steely-blue-grey eyes; his luscious, dark curls; his deep, hypnotic voice. Will John finally come out to his friends, quit the negative self-talk and summon the courage to stop pining and make a move?
A big thanks to clueingforlooksatyou, who, after reading my fic “Body Parts,” which is written from Sherlock’s POV, thought it would be cool to read it from John’s POV. So, this is the parallel story. You don’t need to read "Body Parts" to understand this fic.

Summary
Sherlock loves to eavesdrop on Rosie’s bedtime ritual, which includes John reading to her. One night after John finishes reading "Disney’s Aladdin," Rosie poses an interesting question to him. “If you had a genie, what would your three wishes be, Daddy?” Sherlock, who is still spying outside the bedroom door, is pretty sure he can deduce what John’s wishes would be, and for the first two, Sherlock is spot on. But that third wish, well … even a genius can get it wrong sometimes.

He was no spring chicken - as it were - and the extra stress of running and jumping and tripping and falling and climbing and leaping and - in one notable instance - swimming to the bank of the Thames was putting his body through the proverbial ringer.

Sherlock is enamored with one of the employees at the university library, wiling away hours of his days just to catch a glimpse of the dynamic John Watson: captain of the rugby team, event manager for the LGBT society, and third-year medical student. Of course, being only a first-year, it's unlikely John will ever notice him. At least, until fate (and a little well-intentioned meddling) intervenes.
