Summary
Loras and Margaery escaped the explosion of the Sept of Baelor. But King Tommen and Queen Margaery were unprepared for Daenerys's wrath when a parley in King's Landing went awry. The capital is in ruins and Queen Daenerys Targaryen and her consort, King Jon Stark, now rule Westeros in an uneasy peace after defeating the Night King and the Boy King.

Theo took a breath and nodded, then replied with a calm, steady voice. “I understand, Father. I will fight hard. I am a worthy Nott.”

What happened this summer?” Snape asked quietly. “I thought we had achieved a degree of control.”
Theo laughed once, sharp and humorless. “The Dark Lord happened. Apollonius happened. Things escalated.”
Snape’s expression hardened. “And keeping your head down?”
“No longer sufficient,” Theo said.
“Do you wish to serve him, Nott?” Snape queried giving him a look that Theo couldn’t discern.
Theo stared at the ceiling. The question itself was a trap, meant to test allegiances.
