Little did I know, upon clicking on my first Wilbur Soot YouTube video entitled 'I Started a Revolution on the Dream SMP,' that I would be launched into a phenomenon so profound that YouTube, Twitch, and gaming culture have not seen since its ending. The Dream SMP became a lifeline during some of the most tumultuous years of my life, and I decided to reflect on my experiences, what I loved most about the SMP, and a few musings about the community.

i noticed a motif in the show of using close-ups on shane and ilya to trick the audience into thinking the guys are physically closer to each other than they actually are. it's really obvious in sochi when shane goes to check in with ilya. i thought it was a really cool way to convey the emotional distance between the two, so i broke it down here.

What if "Dragon Age: The Veilguard" was not stuck in such a development hell? What if Project Joplin had not wholly been abandoned? What if we truly had received a game more in line with the first three?
A hypothetical look into an alternate universe where the fourth Dragon Age had a tad fewer problems in its 10-year development cycle.
Disclaimer: I don't hate the game, I actually think it's quite great given the development hell Bioware went through in those 10 years. This is more of a hypothetical universe where there was less of that behind-the-scenes drama. Just a fun writing exercise.
