Kade waited for the words to reach her, then waited even longer for her to respond, but in truth he was already counting. Every second that passed was a second longer that Holly’s body was rebelling against her and he needed to know exactly how long she was under for.

Hyrule gave him a shark-tooth smile, a wolf-faced grin, the kind of expression that should occasionally come with blood in your teeth. “Research.”

Wild gets hurt, badly, and Hyrule taps into a power he hadn't been interested in using ever again. Except, Wild's been dead before, and the consequences of bringing him back again combined with Hyrule's own determination to see him healed are more than any of them know how handle.
