Summary
Sam Winchester was the definition of teenage angst. He was always angry and there was nothing he could do about it. John thought it was irrational, Sam would say he had very many good reasons to be unhappy but nobody would listen to them so what was the point? People were fucking stupid.
"Calm the fuck down," Dean snarled into his ear because it couldn’t have been anyone else. Nobody else would touch him, nobody else would talk to him or get close. He looked like a feral yard dog, barking and biting, spitting venom. But Dean was the same, Dean was worse and he knew him, knew everything about him, every single detail and that was infuriating. He also knew that Sam’s left shoulder still bothered him after the last hunt, so he pulled on his hand, twisted it even more at an angle, and braced his right forearm against his shoulder blades. Sam kept trashing for a little longer but knew there was not really a point.

Ketterdam was a cold and evil place. It meant nothing to the girl before and it meant nothing to her now. If Ketterdam would catch fire, she would just be happy to warm her hands. The city did big alterations to people, some wanted to leave it forever and some claimed it theirs for changing them this much, for creating monsters and taking their innocence from them. They claimed it theirs because it owed them everything and much more. Saskia didn't understand that when she was a little girl with a ribbon in her hair, she didn't see all the evil then.

Erik was an asshole. He lived by a moto do whatever you can live with. Summary
It was supposed to be a simple case; to take their minds off Lucifer and to take a break from worrying about mom and Jack in the Apocalypse World. Sirens, despite their mind games, were pretty predictable once you got past the whole honey trap angle they had going.
Of course, once they got there, things turned to be bit more complicated than a siren and suddenly, there are actual secrets on the line.
Now, Sam wants to know who Dean is in love with and Dean just hopes Sam never figures out that it's him.

Summary
Sam leaves at the age of 15 to escape the homophobia of John and (he believes) Dean. Unable to force himself out of love with his brother, and resentful that John thinks him useless, he fakes his age and joins the marines. He's determined to prove that being gay, and being guilty of the crime of not being Dean, doesn't mean he couldn't hack it, like John's always telling him.
After years of excelling in the marines, mastering his psychic powers, and using his visions to protect his family long-distance, his destiny finally catches up with him and Sam is snatched from a botched covert mission by the YED.
