Galinda is an ignorant, sheltered girl who only has one thing left to do to ensure she has a perfect life: present as an omega. Two months. Two months since everything went wrong. Since Jinx had jinxed it all again. Two months since something that wasn’t supposed to explode exploded and killed Silco and nearly killed Caitlyn Kiramman.
Two months since Vi made Jinx haul her Piltie girlfriend’s mangled corpse to the same man that had flooded her body with shimmer.
Two months since she watched Singed turn Caitlyn into a monster.
Jinx's tea party goes horribly wrong. At Vi's behest, a nearly dead Caitlyn is taken to Singed. Using leftovers from his work on Vander, he builds a beast that is far more advanced than Warwick. Caitlyn wakes up in an unfamiliar body, bound by the whims of her new animal instincts and the chemtech machinery that's keeping her alive.

Summary
Vi was alive. She was alive in a different universe, but this was a meaningless distinction. All she had to do was replicate Ekko's device and follow him. All she had to do was not fuck it up and end up in the wrong universe.
Or how poor innocent AU Powder ended up in the claws of an amnesiac Vi raised by Silco who's a predatory asshole and wants nothing more than to get into Powder's pants.
