Summary
For the last thirteen years, Earth has been under attack by an invasion of biomechanical monstrosities from outer space. In that time, humanity has managed claw survival back into their own hands through the establishment of The Mecha Program, allowing human pilots to battle with the alien horde via neuro-linked, gigantic kickass armored weapons known as mecha.
After over a decade of research and development, for the first time humanity is taking the fight to the invaders.
Striker 1061, Callsign: JAZZ, is sent into Earths orbit to test an experimental space-worthy mecha, and instead finds himself in an unexpected fight as one of the aliens emerges from a tear in space directly next to him.
Attacking the invader, both it and Jazz go back through the tear, where the gathered alien supervisors shit themselves and launch the human back through the gate: Destination Unknown.Both the mission control of Earth and the Quintesson Overseers can only assume there is no possible way the human pilot is still alive.
But if somehow he is, then surely, his Odds of Survival must be Zero.

Jazz narrowed his eyes at the mech. Something about him was almost familiar. He stared hard at him, wracking his processor. His frame was way too fancy to be a common mech, maybe he was on Council? But he kept tabs on all the Councilors and didn’t recognize him. Maybe a Tower mech, or a- Wait. His optics widened with shock and he took a startled step back as realization hit him like blaster fire.

Summary
Jazz and Prowl are Paranormal Investigators.
They had been looking for evidence of the paranormal for years. The two of them investigated everything from aliens to ghosts. To Jazz's disappointment, they had never captured any real evidence. When their friend Blaster sends them reports of large figures being seen in the woods and cars being seen without drivers, they think it's another hoax. After all, everything else they've investigated had ended up being fake in one way or another.
Unfortunately, what they find is very real, and it makes them question everything they thought they knew about themselves. As their strange encounters keep happening, they can't help but notice impossible changes in themselves.
